About MetaZone:

Over time we have expanded to the entire Nordic. During 2011 we also plan expansion throughout the Benelux countries. The customer portfolio consists of mainly large corporations. MetaZone is experiencing an increasing demand for our competencies in our focus areas Data Quality and Master Data Management. Therefore we are now looking for two new colleagues in these areas.

 

About the Positions:

As a consultant in MetaZone you will typically work onsite at the customer on longer project – 6 to 18 months. These projects will typically require integrating data from a variety of legacy systems. You can expect to hold key positions in projects critical to customers' daily operation. You are expected to be able to join projects as both data architect and programmer.

Given the onsite work at customers’primacies you must be willing to travel at least 50% of your working time in the Nordic and/or Benelux.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

The typical candidate holds a technical education from a university and has got a minimum of 3-5 years experience from one or more of the areas listed below:

- Data Quality

- Data Integration

- DataWarehouse

- Master Data Managemement

- MetaData

- Business Intelligence

It is an absolute prerequisite that you have experience with at least one ETL tool (preferably DataStage) and a plus if you know about Java programming.

Since you will be working on project with integration to a variety of systems it is important that you are used to familiarize with the customers’ different physical business flows. Likewise you are used to working project based. You speak English and preferrably one other European language.

 

Personal Qualifications:

You are capable of working independently as well as function in a team, and you are able to set the agenda in the team if required. You are a fast learner and feel comfortable when having to learn new platforms, tools, and assignments. You are a good communicator, both written and orally, and you are used to adapt to the needs of different customers. It is important is that you have made up your mind to be a consultant in a leading international technology company and has got a strong professional dedication to your work.
